Slate at The Row is designed from 1940s pre-war shop houses, readapted into a vibrant enclave giving the space a fresh industrial-inspired look while maintaining the rustic structures. As Slate is an empty venue space, it is often a go-to space for many big brands in hosting medium sized corporate events from product launch, annual dinner to media events, as well as private events such as wedding receptions and birthday parties. 3. WH3

Introducing WH3, also known as Warehouser 3 by Sentul Depot. WH3 is one out of 3 warehouses that Sentul Depot has to offer. A little background on the history of these warehouses. Sentul Depot was once the largest complex of railway workshop in Malaysia with a history dating back to 1905. The 200,000 sqft depot was once the finest engineering workshops in the world.

The Raw studio by Metal Bees is till this day, one of the most versatile and functional event spaces in the Klang Valley. What started out as a film and video production studio quickly gained attention as one of the coolest event space in the Klang Valley.

What makes the space versatile and convenient is the fact that the property is actually a factory lot, hence, infrastructure wise it offers organisers big loading bay space and high ceiling that allows tall structures to be built and ease of loading and unloading props.

1. Amazing Room by iSpace

iSpace Venue needs no introduction as over the years since its inception in 2014, they have managed to built a strong following of returning clients and at the same time attract new ones too. The Amazing Training Room is located in their newest branch in Plaza Vads, TTDI on the 21st floor.

This room can host groups of up to 120 pax in theatre style, 72 pax in classroom style and 27 pax in U-Shape setting. 2. Sequoia Conference Room

Sequioa Conference Room is a relatively new player in the market, officially launched in March 2020. Our first impression of the venue in terms of design was that the owners of the property were not interested in chasing the latest trend by furnishing the venue with fancy furnitures or colourful bean bags, which we often come across these days. But instead they designed the venue to serve its main purpose, which is to provide its customers with a fully equipped training room, which not only looks professional but at the same time practical.

The Sequoia Conference Room is located in Mutiara Damansara, just a short walking distance to IKEA and The Curve shopping mall. In classroom style, the room is able to comfortably accommodate 35 pax and 50 pax in theatre style. For larger groups, there is an adjoining room next to the Sequoia Room which is the same size and same layout. Combining both rooms by sliding a set of movable walls will double up the seating capacity for classroom style to 70 pax and 100 pax for theatre style.

For those that prefers to commute via pubic transport, the most convenient would be the Mutiara Damansara MRT train station. Upon arriving the station, the venue is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The venue comes fully equipped with a projector, PA system, tables, chairs and bottled water. Another unique feature the venue offers is a digital signage at the entrance of the room for organisers to upload their event title or poster. However, the artwork for the poster would have to be supplied to the venue before the event to be uploaded.

3. Eastin Hotel

Our next venue is none other than Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur. Technically the hotel is located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, however, for branding purposes, the hotel recently rebranded themselves as Eastin Kuala Lumpur.

The Glass Space offers a pillar-less space which can accommodate up to 171 guests (theatre seating style). Glass Space is the mid section of the larger Space Ballroom, located in Menara Ken, TTDI. Infrastructure wise, the Glass Space has sleek soundproof partition walls which can be opened up to reveal a larger space. The Glass Space is naturally lit with the abundance of light coming in through the full-length glass windows which envelopes the whole floor. The foyer itself is unique with a central glass atrium void all the way to the rooftop.

Brick Studio: A Versatile Industrial Glam Event Venue in KL.

Our featured venue for this week is none other than Brick Studio. This Industrial Glam Event Space located in Sunway Damansara is one you don’t want to miss out on your event venue checklist. The moment you arrive at the entrance, its no surprise that your first impression of the location is that it is located in an industrial area, followed by the lack of parking spaces.

In terms of location, one will realise that the Brick Studio Event Space is not hard to find and is less than a 10 minute drive from the Sunway Giza Mall, Kota Damansara and One Utama Shopping Mall in Bandar Utama. Now in terms of parking spaces, not to worry, just 20 metres away from the main entrance we arrived earlier is a big open space parking which has over100 parkings bays.

Upon entering the front entrance, one will arrive into what would be the outdoor foyer area which is somewhat minimalist in design, with trees spaced out spaciously against a row of brick walls. There is 2 entrance into the main hall, which is directly from the front entrance, through an automatic sliding door. To avoid congestion at the main entrance, organisers may also divert traffic to enter the main hall through the side entrance.

The venue also comes with a sizeable changing room / dressing room which is located next to the main hall, accessible via the side door entrance. For all of you that are wondering what else comes inclusive with the venue, the property owner has gone of their way to equip the venue with all basic amenities such as a 10k Full Laser Projector, Sound System with wireless mic and mini food prep area at the back of the venue. If your event requires extra power supply to support an LED Screen and Lighting system, a 3 phase DB is readily available. In the event of an emergency power cut, a back up generator is also on standby.

Finally, lets go over some key specs of the main hall. The total build up of the space is slightly north of 3,760 sqft. For a banquet style dining experience, the comfortable seating capacity is 280 pax, which also translate into 28 tables. For a cocktail party or media launch, organisers will be able to pack up to 430 pax standing and finally 330 pax in theatre style seating.

The potential for this space is endless, so is the types of events that can take place here. One of the main unique selling point is that the venue is one of the only few full scale event venue in Kuala Lumpur that allows you to drive a car into the main hall. Perfect for car launches!
